Alternative Motion Project empowers and connects communities through a wide range of
highly physical, evocative, and collaborative contemporary dance forms. To preserve the
tradition of Kathak and explore forward-thinking storytelling, Katha Dance Theatre
presents their unparalleled repertory of this classical form of Indian dance. Shapiro &
Smith Dance perform contemporary tales of breathtaking athleticism and emotional depth

Celebrating nine different dance artists across three fantastic weekends.
Talents collide onstage as our diverse dance community showcases an assortment of genres across
this momentous festival. Each weekend features a new roster and a variety of experiences from
percussive footwork to physical feats to modern expressions and more!
OCTOBER 21 & 22
Afoutayi Haitian Dance, Music and Arts Company promotes Haitian cultural heritage
through dance, songs in Creole and French, and live drumming. Utilizing jazz and modern
expressions, Concerto Dance creates vibrant dance works driven by musicality and
virtuosity aiming to uplift the human spirit. Kaleena Miller Dance creates tap dance works
that invite performers and viewers to participate in deep listening.
OCTOBER 28 & 29
Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca celebrates the beauty of Mexico through their blend of
ballet and folkloric techniques to showcase the essence of their heritage.
STRONGmovement displays their versatility by combining hip hop, ballet, modern, and
West African to tell stories related to society and humanity as a way to bring communities
together. With her captivating technique, internationally-recognized Yuki Tokuda enriches
both the cultures of classical music and ballet through a mesmerizing story-ballet based in
Japanese folklore.
